🚀 Getting Started with HealthCIP

Login, navigation, and first steps for every role.

Accessing HealthCIP

HealthCIP is a web-based application. Open your browser and navigate to your HealthCIP instance URL (provided by your administrator or during deployment).

Demo instance: If you're evaluating the software, your trial web address will be provided by email.

Logging In

Enter your Username and Password on the login page and click Sign In.

HealthCIP supports the following default roles:

Admin Full system access, user management, org settings, master data Hospital Administrator
Doctor Appointments, queue, consultations, prescriptions, AI features Practicing Doctor
Lab Technician Lab investigations, report entry, result management Lab Technician

First login: If you forgot your password, use the Forgot password? link on the login page to initiate a password reset. A reset link will be sent to your registered email address.

Navigation Overview

After logging in, you'll see the sidebar navigation on the left side of the screen. The available menu items depend on your role:

Dashboard

The first page you'll see is the Dashboard. It displays:

Quick Start by Role

🩺 For Doctors

  1. Log in with your credentials
  2. Go to Doctor > Appointments to see your scheduled patients
  3. Click on an appointment to start a Consultation
  4. Record symptoms, diagnosis, and generate prescriptions
  5. Use the AI Treatment Plan button to auto-generate a treatment plan
  6. Check Doctor > Queue to see patients waiting

🧑‍💼 For Receptionists

  1. Log in as an Admin or dedicated receptionist user
  2. Go to Patient > Management & Booking
  3. Search for existing patients or register a new one
  4. Book appointments with available doctors
  5. Manage the patient queue from Doctor > Queue

🔬 For Lab Technicians

  1. Log in with your Lab role credentials
  2. Go to Lab > Reports
  3. View investigations ordered by doctors
  4. Enter results and upload report files
  5. Mark investigations as complete — results are instantly visible to doctors

👑 For Administrators

  1. Log in with Admin credentials
  2. Go to User Management to create/manage users
  3. Configure Organization Settings for your hospital
  4. Manage master data (medicines, symptoms, etc.) from Master
  5. Set up consultation fee structures for doctors

🖥️ For Display / Waiting Area

  1. Log in with the Display role
  2. The screen automatically shows the live patient queue
  3. Select a specific doctor to filter their queue
  4. Patients can see their position in real-time
